Every adoptive parent has to complete a homestudy which is an investigation
of them. This often includes, background checks, financial stability,
references, medical history, marital stability, interviews, classes,
personality assessments, and much more. This is a very tedious process
and leaves no stone unturned. Upon completion of a favorable homestudy
is when Helping Kids Cope wants them to apply for assistance.
